Overview

In framework of the Hamlet Plus project, financed by Programe Interreg CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro, on date 24th November, 2023, Ministry of Culture in Albania is realizing the B2B event; “Enlarging the Network – SMEs in Action”.

HAMLET PLUS is a capitalization project of the HAMLET project, financed by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Program 2014-2020;

The project aims to enhance the local territory through new tools for managing cultural and environmental heritage and for this reason the Albanian Ministry of Culture and the CNA Bari have done capitalized on the outputs of the HAMLET project relating to the tourism offer strategy.

B2B event was organized at Hotel Tirana in Albania by the Apulian partner and the Albanian partner (one in Italy and one in Albania) involving at least 10 economic operators from both countries for each workshop.

These events was reach to encouraging business relationships among entrepreneurs operating in the tourism sector (artisans and SMEs) in order to better valorize the tourist offer of the new itineraries.

B2B was an opportunity to learn interesting testimonies of successful companies, and start-ups, which carry out innovative projects and ideas to develop innovative solutions, maintaining the value of local traditions.

This session made it possible for the economic operators to present the possibilities of cooperation, the exchange of ideas and the exploration of possible cooperations.

At the end of the event, participants feedback sessions and a comprehensive conclusion were organized, summarizing the main points and highlights of the event.

B2B Event: Enlarging the Network – SMEs in Action
Overview
On 24th November, 2023, Ministry of Culture is hosting a dynamic B2B event aimed at fostering entrepreneurial ties within the tourism and artisanal sector. With the participation of at least ten economic operators from Italy and Albania, this event promises to be a cornerstone in elevating the tourist offerings of emerging itineraries in less known areas.
The event will kick off with a warm welcome by Redi Baduni, Director of Ministry of Culture in Albania, who will extend institutional greetings and set the tone for an engaging day ahead. Blerina Kanini, staff of project, will then introduce the “Hamlet Plus” project, shedding light on its key capitalization actions and the immense opportunities it offers to participants.
Participants will be further acquainted with a diverse range of enterprises involved in the B2B sessions. Attendees will gain invaluable insights into the operations of Apulian and Albanian artisans and SMEs.
The sessions will conclude with presentations by the participants. Each presentation will provide a unique glimpse into the world of Apulian and Albanian craftsmanship, ranging from hand-made jewelry to ceramics, textile handicrafts with motifs based on the cultural heritage of the two countries.
Following a well-deserved lunch break, participants will engage in a dedicated B2B session, with at least six desks available for one-on-one meetings. This session will offer a platform for economic operators to present cooperation opportunities, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. The day will conclude with participant feedback sessions and a comprehensive conclusion, summarizing the highlights and key takeaways from the event.

Overview

In framework of the Hamlet Plus project, financed by Programme Interreg CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro, on date 20th November, 2023, Ministry of Culture in Albania is realizing the incoming mission event; “Discover the potential of new itineraries”.
HAMLET PLUS is a capitalization project of the HAMLET project, financed by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Program 2014-2020;

Incoming mission event was organized at Foresta, Artificial Lake in Tirana, involving at least 10 economic operators from both countries Italy and Albania for each workshop.

The new tourist itineraries were structured in a collection including the new identified offer
In the incoming mission in Albania, was done a presentation of new touristic itineraries based on small, unknown villages in Albania;

1. Heritage in ruins of the abandoned medieval village of Tragjas
2. Via Egnatia. The traders way that connected the east with the west
3. Cultural Itineraries of churches and towers, in natural protected areas.
4. Word Heritage Site- Alberobelo Italia.
5. Locorotondo historic center Italia.

OPEN INTERNATIONAL CALL Young and Talented Illustrators/Graphic Designers

The Ministry of Culture of Albania through DoIT Support and Solutions invites young and talented graphic designers to take part in the workshop “Cultural itineraries in postcards”

This activity aims at finding creative and participating strategies for valorization actions of cultural heritage in less known tourist sites.

The illustration is a powerful medium to valorize and spread widely cultural heritage and it could successfully contribute to the touristic promotion of less-known destinations; the project will also seize this tool to promote territorial cultural assets involving young local artists.

The Ministry of Culture through this action is opening a cross-border call to select young illustrators from the Albania, Italy and Montenegro to be involved in the activity. Foreign and local illustrators and graphic designers are invited to express their interest to be part of the project

From all the applicants 40 illustrators will take part in a 3-days artistic residence where they will look into the territory’s features, cultural heritage and traditions. The results of such a deepening will be the basis of the creation of a portfolio of postcards highlighting local features of the villages included in the new itineraries proposed by the project.
